The Estate & Letting Agent Awards 2011 and were recognised for their excellent customer service as voted for by their clients during the course of 2010.
The awards were announced by Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4's Location, Location. Location property programme at a lavish luncheon & ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane London attended by 500 of the UK's top estate and letting agents.
Phil Spencer said "The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry. An ESTA is not an easy accolade to pick up, to win one requires a lot of hard work, over a very long period of time."
Simon Brown, owner of the awards added "ESTA agents believe passionately in providing the highest quality customer service. They are prepared to go that extra mile, prepared to take criticism as well as praise and prepared to invest and develop their businesses accordingly".
The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 26,000 votes were received making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry.

The award was announced by Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location property programme at a lavish luncheon & ceremony in Mayfair, London attended by 450 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents.
Phil Spencer said “By entering the awards agents have put their reputation on the line, they’ve been brave, they’ve done what others are afraid to do. They’ve said to their customers and their competitors – that they believe in providing the best possible service and they want to prove it. They’ve been recognised for their bravery and all that hard work involved to get to the final shortlist.”

Thames Gateway Best New Business Winner 2009
STONESHAW ESTATES were honoured with the BEST NEW BUSINESS AWARD at 12th annual Thames Gateway Business Awards, which were held on Friday 6th November 2009, at the art deco inspired Troxy London.
Finalists were invited along to this glittering event, hosted by BBC Journalist, Louisa Preston and radio presenter David 'Kid' Jensen, with guest speaker, Jim Fitzpatrick, Minister of State at DEFRA to hear who would be announced winner of these prestigious awards.
The event itself and entry process, was a welcome triumph, over what can only be described as "challenging economic conditions" throughout 2009. The popularity of the awards, and abundance of entries, was overwhelming, considering the tough trading conditions that small and medium sized businesses faced, and showed the true spirit with which these businesses have fought to survive.
Each of the 15 winners, walked away with not only the accolade of being some of the best businesses in the area, but also a prize fund to be shared equally amongst all the winners which can be spent on local advertising.

Their first award was in the prestigious New Business of The Year category which saw a record number of entries, thereby recognising Stoneshaw Estates' position as one of the outstanding new businesses to open in Barking & Dagenham within the last year.
